"Xenia was such a fantastic place to be and make art.
I had a really wonderful time. The studio is large and beautiful. On warm days I could open the big doors looking out over the idyllic gardens as I made work - it was such a peaceful and refreshing experience. The spaces are all so thoughtfully designed, the studios are get perfect light throughout the day. The accommodation is also fantastic - the food shop when you arrive makes you feel welcome and everything is set up to be super simple so you can focus on the work. It couldn’t be a better place for making art, in a truly peaceful and isolated environment. When you leave the studio, walking around the farm is the perfect way to take a break from work - with the horses and alpaccas… or the short cycle (maybe even on one of the ebikes!) to the village shop. The rest of the Xenia team is also completely lovely and helpful - they do so much to make the residency a joyful place to be and work. You really couldn’t ask for more from a residency - just a fantastic experience. Thank you so much to Bianca and the rest of team Xenia!"

He is currently a student at the Royal Academy of Arts (Class of 2026), and previously studied at Chelsea College of Arts and Camberwell College of Arts.
