"The time I spent at Xenia was transformative and a blessing. Having a month-long hiatus from London cut out a lot of noise and allowed me to develop new work with a taser focus. I feel like I gained new momentum from the time spent in Upton Grey and have tried to carry this through into London since travelling home.

I felt extremely welcomed in the residency and was treated like family from the moment I arrived. The time in the countryside reminded me of my love for nature and animals in particular. Getting to spend time with the horses and spotting the wild deer was really magical!
Xenia is a unique place to work and think. It feels like a cleansing space where one can offload the stress of the city and really look internally to develop one's practice. I am extremely grateful for having been given this opportunity and will forever only have positive things to say about the whole Xenia team, family and friends. I wish I had booked a longer stay!"
