About

Daniel Greenfield-Campoverde {he/him} is a Venezuelan-American visual artist living and working in London, UK. He studied at Goldsmiths, University of London receiving an MFA in Fine Art, in 2023. Previously, he obtained degrees in Architecture from Yale University & Pratt Institute.

His practice explores the complex relationship between diasporic identities and cultural heritage. In his transdisciplinary practice, he frequently employs autobiographical elements to critically examine themes of exile, migration, and the body. Working across drawing, sculpture, video and installation he often engages with archives, the built environment and found objects. His research has inspired performative walks along contested borders, the embodiment of abstract choreographies within war bunkers, and diaristic pieces that reflect the queer experience.

Recent exhibitions include: The Koppel Project, London (2025), Savvy Contemporary, Berlin (2024), LUX, London; Iklectic, London and Art Exchange, Colchester, UK (2023), Hua International Gallery, Berlin (2022), The Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York, NY (2021), PS120, Berlin (2018), Momenta Art, Brooklyn (2016), The Centro Cultural Chacao, Caracas (2014).

He has participated in various residencies including the Watermill Center (Watermill, NY), The Wassaic Artists’ Residency (Wassaic, NY), Hangar Centro de Investigação Artística (Lisbon, PT) and ZK/U - Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik (Berlin, DE).

His work has been reviewed in Hyperallergic, Artnet, Art Observed, Architizer, El Nacional and ArteFuse. Daniel is currently associate lecturer in the MA Design: Expanded Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London.
