Xenia is such a special place for an artist. It is a rarity to be allowed the time and space to focus on one project or idea.
I shared my stay there with Isabel Garrett. We went with the intention of writing the script for a short film that we are making together. We gained more than a finished script. We came away replenished and re-energised. It was such a treat to wake up the birds and the trees. To talk through ideas whilst walking through the woods and fields.
Bianca and her family invited us into their home for dinner and I am still awed by their generosity and warmth. Very grateful to have had this experience!
